Psalms 100 says

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations

We are to come to God with thanksgiving and praise; being thankful and blessing His name. We are to thank Him because He is good. We are to thank Him because His mercy is everlasting and we need it everyday. We are to thank Him for the sacrifice of His Son. We are to thank Him for eternal life.

We are not to be thankful for the material things in our possession. Many of these things we obtain because we work. But what is it that you have that you didn't buy but that was freely given to you and that will sustain and keep you....the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST!

Jeremiah 29:11-- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

The question is, who would want to be created a young lion; and not know that you have been made to be fearless, strong, and brave, king of the jungle in which you live? Who would want to be created an eagle; and not know that you have been made to soar above the storms of life with swiftness of flight, and that you’ve been created to set your nest in high places with vision and power, to see your goal (and your prey) before others see you hundreds of miles away?

It’s unfortunate but hundreds of thousands of church people around the world are clueless about the purpose for which God has created them. Despite having educated and holy ghost filled pastors who are rightly dividing the word of truth, still believers in many churches have their own ideas about their Christian identity and role.

The question for many is “what is it that I am supposed to be doing for God?”

God has a purpose and plan for life. It is for good and not of evil.

John 16:33 (AMP) - I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Some say life is not fair because they are faced with some form of tribulation one after the other. Acts 14:22 says that we will have much tribulation. Therefore, tribulations are going to come but understand it is not meant to stay or linger. Also understand, that we do not go through it alone; for God said, He will never leave us or forsake us. Do not give that situation permission to stay in your life longer than God intended. Ask God about, speak to it, move on, and watch God.

When you are faced with the difficulties of life, find peace in John 33:16 where God says be of good cheer for, He has overcome what we will ever face in this world. He has removed the power of the enemy over your life. That same power that raised Jesus is the same power within you. It is the same power to overcome any and everything that you will face.

Trust God and Focus on His Promises and not the Process of getting to Your Purpose.
